イエスは、近寄って来て言われた。「わたしは天と地の一切の権能を授かっている。だから、あながたは行って、すべての民を わたしの弟子にしなさい。彼らに父と子と聖霊（せいれい）の名によって洗礼〔バプテスマ〕を授け、あながたに命じておいたことをすべて守るように教えなさい。わたしは世の終わりまで、いつもあなたがたと共にいる。」

Jesus drew near and said to them, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Go, then, to all people everywhere and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. 今日、心に響いた！
イエスは、ヨハネが捕らえられた聞き、ガリラヤに退かれた。そして、ナザレを離れ、ゼブルンとナフタリの地方にある湖畔の町カファルナウムに来て住まわれた。
それは、預言者（よげんしゃ）イザヤを通して言われていたことが実現するためであった。「ゼブルンの地とナフタリの地、湖沿いの道、ヨルダン川のかなたの地、異邦人のガリラヤ、暗黒（くらやみ）に住む民を大きな光を見、死の陰の地方に住む者に光が射し込んだ。」そのときから、イエスは「悔い改めよ。天の国は近づいた」と言って、述べ伝え始められた。

When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he went away to Galilee. He did not stay in Nazareth, but went to live in Capernaum, a town by Lake Galilee, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali. This was done to make come true what the prophet Isaiah had said, “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, on the road to the sea, on the other side of the Jordan, Galilee, and of the Gentiles! The people who live in darkness will see a great light. On those who live in the dark land of death the light will shine.”
From that time Jesus began to preach his message: “Turn away form your sins, because the Kingdom of heaven is near!”

我らの主イエス・キリストの十字架上の言葉／THE SEVEN WORDS OF JESUS ON THE CROSS
いつも主の受難に感謝しつつ今日をより良く生きよう！そうありたい者である。イエスの十字架は決して2000年前の出来事ではなく、受け入れる者にとっては、本来罪なく罰せられるはずのない神の１人子が人類の罪の身代わりとなり死んで下さったという現実である。キリストの贖罪死が十字架上で成し遂げられたとすれば、罪の許しは既に人類に与えられているのである。

三時ごろ、イエスは大声で叫ばれた。「エリ、エリ、レマ、サバクタニ。」これは、「わが神、わが神、なぜわたしをお見捨てになったのですか」という意味である。
